Once upon a time, in West Java, Indonesia, lived a royal princess named Dayang Sumbi, she was beautiful and kind.

she married a dog because when she was weaving and her utensils fell she screamed and asked someone to take her utensils. he shouts that if a woman helps him, he will be his sister, and if it is a boy he will marry him. The dog's name was Tumang

Tumang is actually a man who has been cursed by a witch into a dog. However, at certain times Tumang can return to being an ordinary person. They have a son named Sangkuriang. He grew up handsome and healthy. Sangkuriang likes to hunt animals in the forest with Tumang, one day Dayang Sumbi ordered Sangkuriang to bring a deer's heart.

While in the forest Sangkuriang did not find a deer. He kills Tumang and takes his heart and says it is deer's heart. Dayang Sumbi knew that it was not a deer's heart but Tumang's heart, Dayang Sumbi immediately chased Sangkuriang away.

Several years passed Sangkuriang grew into a powerful person. One day when he returned to his village he saw a beautiful woman, and that woman was his own mother, Dayang Sumbi. Sangkuriang did not know that it was his mother and Sangkuriang proposed his mother to marry him.

Dayang Sumbi gave a condition that if he wanted to marry her, he wanted her to build a lake and a boat in just one night. In the end Sangkuriang failed. Sangkuriang was very angry and he kicked the boat upside down. it gradually became a mountain and it is now known as Mt. Tangkuban Parahu.
